Pride Month: Resources

Campus Resources

The Pride Center creates, sustains, and strengthens an open, inclusive, safe, and affirming gathering space and campus environment for individuals of all sexual orientations, romantic orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions as well as their allies. With a focus on community building and advocacy, The Pride Center offers educational and 2SLGBTQIA+-centered social justice programming for students, staff, faculty, community members, and allies of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

The SDSU Pride Employee Resource Group is an alliance of nearly 200 faculty, staff, and student employees committed to an inclusive, open campus community, advancing equality for LGBTQIA+ people. We come together to build personal connections, celebrate, learn, and foster social justice and equity within the larger SDSU and LGBTQIA+ community. Through advocating for rights, encouraging discussions, and seeking solutions, we act as agents of positive change for employees as well as students.

LGBTQ+ Studies at San Diego State University is an independent and interdisciplinary program that is housed in the College of Arts and Letters.  The program fosters academic excellence, cultural competency, and student leadership via courses, community internships, international experiences, and faculty mentoring.
