SDSU's special Health Diversity Award collection was purchased with two Collection Equity and Outreach Awards from the Network of the National Library of Medicine Region 5. Books in this collection reflect health and wellness topics, specifically in underrepresented populations. It includes fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, and poetry representing diverse people, illnesses, and other health related concerns.

Library Catalog

The library catalog is a record of everything we own or have access to. You can search it by keyword, title, author, or subject. 

  • Searching by subject is a great way to see all books on a particular topic without having to rely on knowing words that may or may not appear in a title.
  • If you use the advanced search page, you can limit the "Material Type" to books OR ebooks.
    1. In the "Any Field" dropdown, choose subject
    2. Choose the material type you want to find
    3. Type in the subject heading (selected list below) and submit the search
