Using Scopus to Import Reference Lists from an Article

When conducting a literature or systematic review you may want to import references that are listed in individual articles.  The easiest way to do this, is to pull up the article in Scopus and export the reference list from there:

  1. Look up the article in Scopus
  2. Open the article in Scopus (not on the publisher site)
  3. Scroll down to where the references are listed
  4. Click the radial beside All
  5. Click Export
  6. Select RIS Format
