Access library resources from off-campus, after authenticating with last name, Red ID, and library PIN.
Remote access to library resources, such as article databases, is restricted to current SDSU students, faculty, and staff. Access to the library's online catalog does not require a login and is freely available.
The library uses the EZproxy system to authenticate that users are affiliated with SDSU. When library resources are accessed from off-campus, the EZproxy server will automatically generate a webpage that asks users for their SDSUid and password. Once that information is submitted, the user will be able to access the library resource.
If you do not see a login page when you click on a library resource from off-campus, then it is possible the URL does not contain the required EZproxy information. Correct URLs should contain the string "libproxy.sdsu.edu." Please contact the reference desk for assistance.
