Hi Everyone,
A little bit about me is that I've had a very cool career as an academic librarian at SDSU since 2002. It was then that I was hired as the library's education librarian for the College of Education and I happily continue in that role today.
My research specializations mostly surround children's literature, education, and collections. I have specialized education in rare illustrated books and materials. I also curate the fabulous Edward Gorey Personal Library and have done so since that collection came to SDSU in 2009. It is also my privilege to curate the children's collections at the SDSU Library. I serve as the liaison for the Children's Literature Program in the SDSU Department of English and Comparative Literature, and for Russian.
Librarians wear many hats during their careers. During my career, I also worked as the Head of the Reference Services Division for many years. Now, in addition to my education librarian work, I work as the Interim Head of the Collections Unit.
I look forward to working with you on research consultation, course instruction, class visits, collections projects, exhibits, or other library related services.
I am available during my office hours:

Thursday 11 am to 1 pm
