Depending on the section of a class you will typically have 50 or 75 minutes to provide instruction. Monday/Wednesday classes are typically 50 minutes, Tuesday/Thursday are 75 minutes. It is good to touch base with the instructor beforehand to find out their expectations for the session.
There is never enough time to cover everything, so I've divided the instruction into manageable portions. Think of it as an á la carte menu. Sometimes the students have already chosen their topics and had them approved by their instructor. More often, the students only have a vague idea of what they will be researching, and may need a little help focusing their topic.
