June 2025

Monday, June 2 (noon-1 p.m., Turtle Pond): Rainbow Picnic and Games

Enjoy an afternoon at the Turtle Pond with provided board games, card games and light refreshments while celebrating queer joy. 

Tuesday, June 10 (11 a.m.-2 p.m., The Pride Center): Free HIV Testing

CHIP and San Ysidro Health will be providing free HIV testing that is confidential and has no age or ID requirement. Please note participants must fill out a consent form and sexual health questionnaire once on site. Results are available in 20 minutes. 

Monday, June 16 (noon-1:30 p.m., The Pride Center): Pride ERG Luncheon

The Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG) and The Pride Center are partnering for a lunchtime mixer between staff, faculty and students! Grab your lunch, enjoy some sunshine and meet someone new within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community at SDSU.

Thursday, June 26 (11 a.m.-noon, Women’s Resource Center): Pride Bracelet Making

The Pride Center will provide all the materials needed to make stylish bracelets that help you express yourself or represent a pride flag.

 

July 2025

Tuesday, July 15 (1-2 p.m., Turtle Pond): Rainbow Picnic and Crafts

Create pride-themed crafts centered around exploring self-expression and community reflection with provided supplies and light refreshments (participants are welcome to bring their own materials).

Wednesday, July 16 (noon-1:30 p.m., Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union Goldberg Courtyard): SDSU's 18th Annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony

Come celebrate Pride Month with light refreshments, speeches by students and campus leaders and a performance from the SDSU Color Guard at the Pride Flag raising.

Friday, July 18 (11 a.m.-1 p.m., The Pride Center): Pride Clothing Swap 

Get ready for the pride parade and find your outfit in the free Gender Affirming Closet at The Pride Center! Already have your outfit? The Pride Center will also be accepting donations of new or gently worn clothing to continue providing the Gender Affirming Closet as a no-cost resource for community members.

San Diego’s Pride Parade is the largest single-day civic event in the region and is among the largest Prides in the United States, attracting over 250,000 cheering supporters of the LGBTQIA+ community.
