Finding Journal Articles from the Citation

Here's a Journal Citation:

Lewandowski, D. (2010). Google scholar as a tool for discovering journal articles in library and information science. Online Information Review, 34(2), 250-262.

The elements you'll need from the citation to find the article:

Journal: Online Information Review
Year: 2010
Volume: 34
Issue number: 2
First page: 250

Use the Citation Linker to find out if the Library has a copy of the article in either print or electronic form.

If you don't find your journal:

1. Fill out an Inter-library Loan (ILL) request. This could take a few days to two weeks, depending on how easy the article is to find. A copy of the article will be emailed to you as a PDF. The service is free for students, faculty, and staff of SDSU.
2. Search for your journal in Circuit, if you find it at another local library you can often visit that library and retrieve it.
