This is the official iNaturalist project of the San Diego State University Biodiversity Museum. This project aims to increase our understanding of the natural history of the SDSU flora and fauna by documenting its diversity and distribution. We also make an effort to capture behaviors that will further increase our understanding of our local species, such as plants and their pollinators, ants and their food items, etc. Finally, this project aims to increase the bioliteracy of SDSU students by creating an atmosphere which promotes interest in learning as many local species as possible.
Download the iNaturalist app, search for this project and start adding your observations! Here is a direct link to the iNaturalist page: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/biodiversity-observations-at-san-diego-state-university. Click on Join Project.
