In the health sciences, it is increasingly common to publish open access. Often this is done as part of a grant requirement, but it can also be done because of journal access, journal popularity, or the authors' personal decision. While some open access journals are free to publish in, many require substantial article processing charges (APCs). The CSU System has several agreements to reduce or eliminate the cost of publishing in some open access journals. This guide provides links to the lists of available open access journals.
