Evidence Synthesis Information for Librarians

An increasing number of researchers across disciplines are asking librarians for help with systematic reviews, scoping reviews, evidence maps, and other forms of evidence synthesis. This task force will meet monthly to discuss readings, technologies, and problems related to librarian work on evidence synthesis.

• Identify evidence synthesis needs at SDSU and potential librarian roles in evidence synthesis
• Determine if SDSU should provide institutional licenses to evidence synthesis software (And if yes, which)
• Prepare librarians (especially outside of the health sciences) to assist in or conduct evidence synthesis
