Research Tools @ SDSU

PubMed and other NCBI sites do not look at our network address to determine access. Instead we need to connect to SDSU as an Outside Tool.

Method 1: Adding the Outside Tool to the URL

Use this link https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?otool=casdsulib or find PubMed Medline in the Database A-Z to connect to SDSU collections.

Method 2: Adding an Outside Tool to your NCBI account

1. Visit pubmed.gov
2. Login top right
3. Click your email at top right and select "Dashboard"
4. Click NCBI Site Preferences at top right
5. Under PubMed Preferences select Outside Tool
6. Find and select San Diego State University - Find Full Text from the list of Outside Tools
