San Diego Public Library holds great respect for the land and the original people of the area where our library is located. The library was built on the unceded territory of the Kumeyaay Nation. Today, the Kumeyaay people continue to maintain their political sovereignty and cultural traditions as vital members of the San Diego community. We acknowledge their tremendous contributions to our region and thank them for their stewardship. Learn more about SD Circuit’s local partner, the All of Us Research Program from UC San Diego Health: https://allofusucsd.org

Why is Climate Resilience Important?

Climate Resilience is the capacity of a community, business, or natural environment to prevent, withstand, respond to, and recover from a disruption caused by changes in climate and climate disasters. The San Diego Circuit libraries have created this guide to help you find the resources you need to understand and respond to issues surrounding climate change.
