TypeFocus is a career assessment tool that helps focus career decisions by providing individualized information about personality preference patterns, career satisfaction, and career options. TypeFocus can be applied to a variety of areas such as choosing majors, investigating occupations, and considering graduate school.

Free for students registered with Handshake. (Can be found on the Resources page in the Career Center drop down list)

The O*NET Interest Profiler helps you decide what kinds of careers you might want to explore by helping you identify your interests that relate to work.

The Skills Matcher helps you identify your skills. Use the Skills Matcher to create a list of your skills and match them to careers that use those skills.

The Fowler Career Management Center also subscribes to self-assessment tools for careers, and the CareerLeader tool is specifically designed for Business majors. This page shows you how you can access these through Fowler's Career Management Center.
