SDSU Imperial Valley campus history archival collection

The SDSU Imperial Valley maintains a small collection of archival materials related to the history of the campus. We are in the process of organizing, listing, and making accessible the various items in the collection.

The collection includes the following materials. This list is not exhaustive.

  • 3 boxes of materials collected by long-time SDSU-IV History professor John Polich: scrapbooks, ephemera, class work, reports
  • 3 boxes of institutional materials (documents created by the University): annual reports, memos, news clippings, ephemera
  • 1 box of photographs
  • various photo albums
  • various scrapbooks
  • 4-5 posters of past campus conferences/events
  • SDSU Imperial Valley campus bulletins from 1975 through 2000 (also digitized, see the "SDSU-IV Bulletins" page of this guide)

The collection is accessible for use at the SDSU Imperial Valley Library and is open to all researchers. If you are interested in working with the collection please contact SDSU-IV Librarian Mara Cota.
