  • ArcGIS Online A cloud-based collaborative content management system for maps, apps, data, and other geographic information.
  • Federal Geographic Data Committee - Provides access to the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) Clearing House Network and the geodata.gov portal. See information on submitting data.
  • GeoCommons.com An open GIS repository of data and maps for the world.
  • GEON An open collaborative project that is developing cyberinfrastructure for integration of 3 and 4 dimensional earth science data. See information on submitting data.
  • Geospatial at Data.gov - One-stop for federal, state and local geographic data
  • National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) - NOAA data sets by discipline
  • National Wetlands Inventory The National Fish & Wildlife Service's resource of geospatially referenced information on the status, extent, characteristics, and functions of wetland, riparian, deepwater, and related aquatic habitats in priority areas. See information on submitting data.
  • OpenTopography A portal to high-resolution Earth science-related, research-grade, topography and bathymetry data. See information on data hosting.
  • Pangaea Open Access library of georeferenced data from earth system research. Any data from earth and life sciences are accepted. See information on submitting data.
