You can check out a book or audio-visual materials from any university in the CSU system through CSU+ and pick it up at the SDSU University Library.
The first step is to make sure that the library does not have those materials
To check our collections :
Search for your materials by
If we do not have the title
If you are not signed in already, sign in to your SDSU account
You will see a confirmation. You can review and manage your requests through OneSearch. To do this select your name from the upper right corner of the page. I drop down will appear. Select My Requests from the dropdown to review and manage your requests.
You will get an email in your SDSU email account when the book is at SDSU and is ready for you to check out.
You can also request books from a consortium of San Diego public and academic libraries through San Diego Circuit and pick them up at an SDSU Library
To request a book through Circuit:
Search for your book by
If we do not have the title
You will receive an email when the item is ready for you to pick it up. Head to the Circulation Desk to check out your item.
Found an article that is not available through the library? You can request that article through interlibrary loan.
To do that head to the SDSU Library website (library.sdsu.edu) and start by checking for that article by entering the title in the search box on the library homepage. If you have verified that we do not have it, you can submit a request through interlibrary loan. To do that follow these steps:
You will receive an email at your SDSU email address once the request is processed. Log back into ILLiad to access your interlibrary loan.
