Locating Specific Databases

Select the Database link below the search box on the SDSU Library homepage

You can use the alphabetical list to locate the database you want or 

From the Databases A-Z List, you have 3 search and browse options. You can:

  • Search by database title or keyword by using the box on the left labeled Database Title/ Keyword.  Select the box and enter the title or keyword and the Search button.
  • Use the drop down boxes labeled Subjects located in the middle to see what databases are good for a particular subject area.  Once you have selected the subject from the dropdown select the Search button. Don't want to scroll through options? You can also type your subject in that box as well. 
  • Use the drop down labeled Types on the left to locate databases that have a particular type of resource ( examples: data and statistics, faculty tools, images, newspapers, peer-reviewed articles, primary sources, streaming media, ect...) Once you have used the dropdown to pick the type of resource you are looking for,  select the Search button to run the search.

You will see a list of databases.  Click on the title to access the database you want.
